The president should say to the moderator right off the top, “I understand you worked for Joe Biden, is that right?”
Millions of Americans will learn that fact for the first time. It will on their minds the entire debate.
Note. The mask does not protect you from anything. Even the most rabid pro-mask scientists admit that the mask gives you maybe 10% protection.
The mask is worn so that if you have the virus, but don’t know it, you won’t spread it to others.
So here, Wallace is saying that every person in that hall wore masks, except the Trump family.
If the Trump family got the virus in that hall, it doesn’t show that masks work, it shows that they do not, because if someone in that hall gave it to them, they did so THROUGH THE MASK that is supposed to prevent it.
CDC still says a mask CAN help you, because it will stop some large particles. But they note that you can get sick by hand-to-face contact, and also through your eyes. The mask on the infected person stops most particles from getting into the air in the first place, so it is very effective, up to 75% effective.
So, it is likely that Hope and the Trumps were confronted by someone who was sick and was not wearing a mask, and it isn’t their “not wearing a mask at the debate” that got them sick.
Remember, everybody at the debate was tested, and most of them had been tested previously. There was a lot of other places where they had a chance to interact with people who were not getting their circle of contacts tested.
Is there anything talking airheads don’t know?
No. The lesson is that this is wide a spread contagious virus and despite taking any and all precautions (short of never ever leaving your cave) you may very well catch it, often without even knowing so.
When I wear my mask, my glasses steam up. Now what do you suppose does that? Oh yeah, air escaping.

Wallace said a a pin head. Only at minimum N95 respirators have filtering capabilities to remove viruses encapsulated in vapors. All the other non NIOSH approved masks are usless for anything other than stopping a person from spitting across the room.
