"Just saying it helps. Especially if it is in your nose. Can’t hurt. Would you rather not do anything???!!!"

No. Just pointing out the fact that viruses also enter through the eyes. Something, perhaps, 98% of people out there have no idea about. Also, another reason why people who think they're safe because they wear a mask are ignorant. A cloth mask no less.

I’m not sure Remdesivir is used unless the infection ends up in the lower respiratory tract, but I suppose they could just start him on it, I’m guessing he will have Ivermectin, as that does seem to be the current go-to.

I sent this to FOX News.

The candidates were supposed to fact check each other during rebuttal. Neil Cavuto said Chris Wallace wouldn’t be fact checking the candidates during the debate (ala Candy Crowley). That was a lie. Joe Biden was obviously incapable of fact checking anybody; he could only put out a bunch of lies (Charlottesville, Military graves in Europe, President Trumps taxes, coronovirus response, Obama economic expansion and Trump recession - shall I go on). Chris Wallace covered for Biden. Also the premise in Wallace questions to the President contained factually challenged statements, causing the President to react. The President reacted to Bidens lies as well. Your debate appeared to be a coordinated attack on the President with a lot of debunked stories from the New York Times and Washington Post. I applaud the President for standing up to these two verbal bullies. Chris Wallace should never be allowed to moderate another debate. In fact, I think he should be fired. I am switching to OANN for my fair and balanced news.

Remdesivir is given only by IV in hospital and has very high rate of serious side effects
Luckily Trump has doctors who hopefully will keep this in check as an outpatient treatment, like the Pres of Brazil

She should not have put herself on that plane if she had even mild symptoms

Selfish

You continue to misquote the facts on this. 95.6% survival rate for individuals age 70-79 per CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/planning-scenarios.html

But President Trump will receive the best medical care on Earth and have immediate access to any and all treatment options that exist. I have no doubt he’ll be alright.

The President and First Lady are two of the healthiest people on television and in public life. I thought it was extraordinary that they looked better and healthier each time — while most past presidents seem to age noticeably while in office.

If you had to choose two people to get Covid and prove that it is not the bogeyman the vested interests want us to believe it is — they would be a good choice.

They are the cure for the pandemic hysteria that one couldn’t have planned it better this way. They’ll be fine and instructive.

Now if Joe Biden gets it, that’s another matter altogether.

Oh, “Marm Medows on Fox” is Mark Meadows. (I assumed Marm Medows was a Fox reporter.) I guess that would be an official statement. :)

Effing useless article that goes on and on without even MENTIONING what the symptoms are, despite the headline.

Damn journalism (and journalists) like this.

If he tested positive thursday night, he did not pick it up from Hope on the plane wednesday.

This is one of those special issues with COVID, that it appears to be contagious before you get symptoms, and even before you TEST POSITIVE.

I’m guessing they isolated her as soon as she was feeling ill, but by that time, she had spread it to Trump, assuming she did; it might also be that both of them got it from someone else.

I actually hope, given the public nature of the presidency, and the detailed records of contacts, and the access to testing they can provide, that we will get a detailed story about how the virus spread to the President. I think it would be helpful to the nation, to understand how it works and how you can protect yourself, rather than this silly “just wear masks and wash your hands” crap.

"I’m sure it comes from the top, no details."

Yeah, it was a breaking, developing story with few details (naturally, with developing stories).

Mark Meadows, Trumps Chief of Staff, confirmed "mild symptoms" during a quick presser a bit ago. Didn't say exactly what those mild symptoms are though. Said his doctor will give an update later.

They have reported that the staff, Meadows, Kudlow, etc and children Barron etc tested negative. Since the incubation period is 5 to 7 days it sounds like it was a campaign event. Hicks fell ill on the campaign plane and was put in the corner. So i'm sure everyone on plane will be tested.. The next 5 days will be telling. No tweets from the Real Donald Trump . Hopefully up and about soon.

"Remdesivir is given only by IV in hospital and has very high rate of serious side effects"

Another option for "mild symptoms" would be the inhaled version of Aviptadil.

Gray Boots, I do not understand why gas dr thinks you are practicing medicine. It seems to be an automatic impulse with him. Any insights into this? Here is a snip from HG.org: ___________________________________
Medical Advice
When the person does not have a medical license, he or she is not permitted to provide medical advice. However, this is harder to stick charges to, because the person may be giving an opinion based on the facts, and many individuals accomplish this through online help in healthcare or through reading extensive data from course work or other materials. For this to cause legal problems, the person must be considered to be practicing medicine such as claiming to be a doctor or similar person. The information given must be specific to the illness, injury or ailment of the individual. Another manner of this aspect could be if the nonmedical person attempt to prescribe medication.

Regeneron antibody cocktail as potential COVID-19 treatment

To this end, Regeneron developed the REGN-COV2 antibodies to bind to the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and block its interaction with the host receptor, which is expected to neutralize the virus.

The clinical trial will test the safety, tolerability and efficacy of REGN-COV2 as a promising therapeutic strategy to reduce SARS-CoV-2 viral shedding and COVID-19 disease progression.

Information on the clinical study (# NCT04426695), titled Safety, Tolerability, and Efficacy of Anti-Spike (S) SARS-CoV-2 Monoclonal Antibodies for Hospitalized Adult Patients With COVID-19, can be found online. The clinical trial launched June 11.

BoJo did not get the early treatment Trump will receive

No, but he likely got the best treatment the NHS had on hand. But we (I say ‘we’, but I’m not a doctor) know more about the China virus than we did when Boris J contracted the disease.
