New data from the CDC is terrifying, we need to all wear our masks!
I wonder what the cultural fallout will be from the president getting it, and then coming out of it with little or no symptoms.
I think that if he dies, the country panics. But if he lives, it ends the stupid lockdown and masks. And my money is on the latter. Heck, he may have even timed this whole thing. Seriously.
How will this affect the election, our culture and the lockdown if they show little or no symptoms?
And he uses the HCQ cocktail?
This could be Trump’s October surprise. :)
And a president getting it with minor - or no - symptoms followed by complete recovery will completely change the vernacular on this disease. This may be the greatest October surprise ever.
imagine on election day you have an election with two 70+ year old candidates, one has survived into immunity, the other is bound to get it eventually...
this may affect how people vote.

In the final week, it will be super terrifying data. Then after the election, it will all disappear.

I find it strange that the more we wear masks, the higher the (fake) rate goes.
It’s almost like the dirty masks are spreading it.
I have believed that for a looooong time...that is why I don't wear one and why I avoid those that do.

I’m with you on that. I might have been a curveball in the early stages but the medical profession has a bead on it now.

the masks and distancing thing is only to slow its spread so that hospitals will not be overwhelmed.
The media is doing a disservice to everyone, as usual, by not making this clear clear clear.
And so you don’t worry too much - even old people have a very very high recovery rate. Younger people are almost at 100%
In a nutshell, very contagious, very recoverable. Vast majority of deaths are due to other conditions. Only 9000 have died just from the virus.
