If I remember correctly, nickle plated cases were designed for cops to wear in their belt loops as the leather acids will not cause them to turn green. I have some .357 mag that are 50 years old. They will still shoot just fine.

Scopes on 3 month backorder.

Yep, it's crazy. Back when the trouble started in Minneapolis, I went ahead and bought the optics updates that I had been considering. I'm glad I didn't wait.

IIRC, the Tristar pump has an action return “assist” spring on the pump mechanism. If that’s the one you have, call Tristar and ask about accessories. I’m pretty sure that a Mossberg 500 fore grip will work on that model, but the company can confirm that.

At first I thought it was novel. You shuck backwards and release the slide, and it flies forward into battery. During reloading drills I realized that the bolt wont stay open, but the spring returns it forward.

Stripped those suckers and removed the springs didi mao.

They would be decent inexpensive shotguns but for the forend grip. It comes with a nice Picatinny rail underneath for mounting a light, and with the forend cut to size I could mount sidesaddles. But out of the box they're almost like toys.

I forgot to mention the Tri-Star decocking. You can ease the bolt forward about 1/4 to half-closed, then pull the trigger while closing the bolt. The hammer rides the bolt into the decock position without dry firing.

I do this with M1A rifles and wondered if it would work with these shotguns and it does.

They seem very well-made (in Turkey), but very light compared to an 870. Like I said previously, almost like toys.

Background check that used to be less than 2 hrs. now 1-7 days.

One of the reasons I have a permit, even though I live in a Constitutional carry state. I'm NICS exempt, so no phone call needed when I buy a firearm. Last time I bought a firearm I was in an out of the store in 20 minutes. It would have been even less time, but the clerk had to find a manager to get into the gun vault, so that took about five minutes.

H&K came out with a new MP5 and MP5K for civilians the last year or so. They were slow moving at around $2600. Then, when this Summer came along, they dried up along with everything else. They started trickling in now, but they doubled in price. $5000!!! Most likely because it’s the last chance to get a brand new H&K SP5.

“ Enough buying, more using.”

You may get your wish in a couple months. I for one will not accept an election that includes hundreds of thousands of fraudulent votes.

Do not worry about Nickel plated casings.

I have used and reloaded many 10’s of thousands of them without trouble.

I prefer them if available.

This is an ominous sign. I didn’t want to believe that Trump would win anything but hugely, but now it looks like the common man thinks the opposite.

What?

Your comment is typical leftist confusing talk.

Clarification would be nice, without cloudy language.

There's crossbows also, and if those run short, muskets, matchlocks, and hand cannons can be acquired. Leather thongs make good weapons with smooth stones:

The giant of Gath
Made a loud boast
Fight me, O ye Israelites
And you will be toast
But a young lad from Bethlehem
Armed with but a sling
Felled the proud giant
And became a great king

You need the thing in the upper left of the picture in this ad. I’d buy the whole $10 kit just for that if I needed one.

My wife learned a long time ago not to stay out of my hair about my guns. If bills are paid and we ain’t hungry, I’ll buy whatever I want
