LIVE at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 29: President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden take part in the first presidential debate between the two candidates. The Cleveland, Ohio event is moderated by “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace.

My bet is Biden will have an IR (infrared) earpiece in place.
The IR signal will be very powerful to make certain the earpiece can pick it up regardless of positioning.
A radio earpiece is risky because that is the most expected device...IR earpieces are OLD technology.
IR signals can even pass through human flesh....you can test this by pressing your TV remote into your palm and placing your hand close to the TV set remote pickup...the signal goes right through your hand. And that is a weak TV remote signal.
I built an high-powered IR array on a piece of perfboard and hooked it to a TV-Be-Gone transmitter and was able to turn TV sets off in the homes across the street...lol

I say every time Wallace interrupts Trump to “correct” him, we drink. It’s either that or attack the TV in a blind rage.

I like watching these threads and not the actual TV event. Freepers do a great job!I do the same thing! Keeps me sane.
In fact I did the entire Election Night 2016 online with just four browser windows open - Free Republic, Reddit (The_Donald), Drudge, and the NYT results page.
You might laugh at the last two but Drudge hadn't gone all the way to the dark side then and the NYT had the best results of anybody. In fact, they had Trump winning the election by 9:30 that evening. Hours before anybody else started admitting it.
How's this for a memory?

Me too. I’ll get very irritated at Biden and especially Wallace’s smug condescending tone and start raising my voice at the TV. The wife wants me to watch but I doubt i will.

Every answer President Trump gives needs to have some connection to running water.
