You’d better believe that 75% or more of the populated land-mass in CA, OR, and WA want nothing to do with forced separation from the USA. agree, the red parts of their states are not just going to leave their ranches, land holdings, livelihoods etc. and immigrate back the USA. Many would want to secede from the state that seceded. If/when Trump wins, I think we’ll get to see how all of this plays out because I do think it possible, even likely, some states like California (where this red/blue dynamic is pronounced) try to secede.
We need to negotiate the ‘divorce’...
The south part of Illinois might NOT want to go with Chicago... Atlanta might be a blue circle within a red state...
Just because it’ll take time to work out details doesn’t mean we shouldn’t start the process. This can be done peacefully.
