What is the relevance of these data?
Uganda is very primitive...not yet up to 3rd World status. No masks, no social distancing, nothing to lock down.
They have a terrible health risk. That is infestation of Mosquitos that carry and spread Malaria. Due to this, the world has helped by contributing Hydroxy-Chloroquine, Zinc and Azithromycin.
Coincidence? The CDC has prohibited the use of this treatment...How is that working out.
Oh yeah, I keep forgetting President made favorable comments and was given this treatment himself...how does his health seem?

It is simple...
They may have better specific immunity due to being exposed to so many bad/similar diseases. Malaria medicine may help also.
I think most of them were on quinine already before the pandemic due to malaria.

More than I trust what comes out of our govt agency.
Population density?
A lot of countries have extremely low reported Covid rates in spite of excellent circumstances for its spread.
- Some countries simply are too backward to have comparable medical reporting. Someone dies of Covid at home, is not tested, and no-one will ever know. At best, eventually, a study of civil records (to the extent these are also valid) may be able to determine whether there was a spike in deaths. I suspect Uganda may be in this situation.
- Some countries that also have excellent conditions for spreading Covid have not seen anything like the typical death rates. The Philippines for instance, with its 100,000,000 people and a decent medical reporting system, where the government is terrified of an outbreak that the limited medical infrastructure (ICUs etc) cannot deal with. But it hasn’t happened, yet. There is a very great deal about Covid that is a mystery.
We are at war.
