I’m no fan of mandates, but working from home saves people a lot of time and money.
The type of job matters of course.
It’d be nice if companies would just do it without government mandates.
Otherwise I agree. If you can work from home, why not?
I’ve argued this angle at work to continue wfh. We have greenies so this appeals to them.
It’s preferred not to be at the office but at least one of titans of manufacturing or other helpless, hapless, or hopeless breaks something.
That means show up.
Some can wait a day or two but I don’t like outstanding tickets.
The past few years it has been mostly me doing it.
I’m half looking for something else.
