Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has slammed U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi for likening Turkey to North Korea and Russia as she accused U.S. President Donald Trump of admiring the leaders of these countries.
Speaker Pelosis rise to become Speaker of the House is what is truly worrisome for American democracy, given her blatant ignorance. You will learn to respect the Turkish peoples will, Çavuşoğlu tweeted on Sept. 25 as he tagged Trumps official Twitter account handle.
In a statement on Sept. 24, Pelosi slammed Trump for not accepting a peaceful transition of power should he lose the presidential election early November 2020.
We do know who he admires. He admires [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, he admires Kim Jong Un, he admires [Recep Tayyip] Erdoğan in Turkey, she said.
But I remind him, you are not in North Korea, you are not in Turkey, you are not in Russia, Mr. President and by the way, you are not in Saudi Arabia. You are in the United States of America, it is a democracy, so why dont you just try for a moment to honor your oath of office, to the Constitution of the United States?
A pox on both their houses.
This guy sure has a lot of little thingymajigs above and below the letters in his name.
Seems overly fancy to me.
The perfect rat storm-she becomes POTUS.
Pelosi versus the Turks. This is the very definition of a game where you don’t cheer for a winner but instead cheer for injuries.
Penlosi put Omar on the US Foreign Affairs Committee.....at Omar's request.
Erdogan and 57 Muslim countries know all they need to know.......thanks to Omar and Penlosi.
==================================
A foray into foreign politics, should have disqualified her from getting US security clearance.
How did she get US security clearance in Congress?
How many US govt documents has she falsified?
Hummm... I wonder what the far left blog/video group ‘The Young Turks’ has to say about this? /s
I agree, but I try not to be diacritical.
I do like turkey, but I favor ham or a nice roast beef more often than not.
LOL.
