(CNN)Dr. Anthony Fauci said Thursday that even an effective Covid-19 vaccine won't replace the need for other public health measures, such as wearing a mask, social distancing and washing hands.
Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said the vaccine will not be 100% effective and taken by 100% of the population -- which means there still will be room for Covid-19 to spread. Fauci said he's being "practical" when he says, "I think if we can get 75 to 80% of the population vaccinated, I think that would be a really good accomplishment." "It is not going to eliminate the need to be prudent and careful with our public health measures," he said in a Facebook Live conversation with New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy.

They LOVE this mask thing. Remember, the “masking” didn’t come along until well into the shut-down and even then it wasn’t pushed especially heavily and wasn’t mandatory anywhere. And then suddenly, around May, by which time all the numbers were dropping and it was clear that the hospitals were far from overwhelmed, the political usefulness of muzzling the population occurred to them. The mask also serves as a visible sign of compliance and submission.
So after that suddenly “masking” swept the Democrat states and other incredibly harsh policies were imposed because they had found they could get away with it. And that’s not something they ever want to let go.

Agree. I’ll even go so far as to say I’d even love a placebo CALLED a vaccine — if it would free myself from mask tyranny. As long as the covidiots believe it, that’s all that matters.
