It was already obvious comparing the two conventions: Even though the Democrats own the actors, they dont own the true creative talent in Hollywood. That all seems to have crossed to the Republican side of the aisle. The Democrat convention was drab and oppressive; the Republican convention was bright and open. Its the same thing with ads and memes. As far as I know, there are no incredible, knock-it-out of the park Democrat videos. The Republicans, though, are killing it. Here are four of the best.
First, heres an ad out of Texas showcasing six conservatives running for the House. It is, bar none, the most creative, enjoyable political ad Ive ever seen. Its also quintessentially American and Texan. For the sheer pleasure of this ad, Dan Crenshaw, Wesley Hunt, Genevieve Collins, Beth Van Duyne, Tony Gonzales, and August Pfluger should all win their races:

Second, heres a wonderful video meme. A listener caught a Coffee with Scott Adams episode in which Adams talked about how doing the impossible is a unique American trait. Moreover, he said that Trump, especially, is a master of the impossible. The video pulls together Adams talk with a whole lot of American impossibilities, and ends by suggesting the most possible impossibility of them all:

Third, heres another meme video that highlights, amusingly, how ridiculous Biden is. He has no idea what hes saying. Hell read and misread anything on the teleprompter or, perhaps, the words are fed into his brain via a small earpiece who knows?

Thank you. I have heard rumors, but haven’t had the time to run them down. I will take a look at these tonight.
“I still dont know about Crenshaw. I have heard he is rubbery on the 2nd Amendment, and I really have a tough time believing that.”
He was interviewed on some program not too long ago, and in a discussion about gun control and shootings he said there is no place for “weapons of war” on American streets. I would like to think he was referring to nuclear weapons, but for some reason I don’t think so. I would like to see him come out definitively about his position on the 2nd Amendment.
Can’t wait for the sequel! :)
Great stuff.
It has been widely reported that Trump’s ground game is superior to Biden’s in this election.
I don’t know if that is true, or hype.
Turtle?
You mean Cocaine Mitch?
Crenshaw has an NRA “A” rating.
His opponent has an “F” rating.
Even if Crenshaw is wobbly on some aspects of gun rights, he is still WAY better than the alternative.
FWIW, I’m an NRA Life Member.
I hear ya. I’m an NRA life member, too. Better than the democrat opponent really isn’t saying much in any race. The democrat party is totally lost. I have a very low tolerance for wobbly on any aspect of our Constitutionally guaranteed rights. It would be nice to find a Republican to challenge Crenshaw or to hold his feet to the fire in some other way.
Agree on all points. But...ya gotta face the situation life serves up as best you can. In this case, it happens to be Crenshaw.
Thank you. That is the type of context I was looking for.
I wouldn’t not vote for Crenshaw...I just wonder how someone with his background would be into Red flag laws and things like that
But thank you...greatly appreciated.
“The Apex Predator Turtle” McConnell...:)
Agree...but he is more likely to be "turnable" to the correct viewpoint than his "F" graded opponent. Hopefully, someone can catch his ear.
My fondest hope is that Texas will institute "constitutional carry".
I agree completely.
Turtle is a stealth Apex Predator.
Thank you.
I greatly appreciate your sending me that. I still don’t know his issue on Red Flag legislation, but I have always felt that for a person to support ANY kind of Red Flag legislation, no matter how worded, is an invitation for some people to attack a candidate.
We all know there are some people who simply should not be able to own guns. That is a fact. I suppose to some people, any legislation that opens a pathway to take firearms from people who should NOT under any circumstances have them is, in their mind, an infringement on the 2nd Amendment.
However, and I would be a fool not to acknowledge this-there is almost no Red Flag legislation that could possibly be written that could not be misused in some way by anti-2nd Amendment Leftists bent on using it as a tool. There just isn’t.
If a diagnosis of “mental illness” were required, the key area they would abuse would be...which “mental illnesses”? They would include everything from muttering to yourself or picking your nose. Or they would just redefine mental illness to include membership in the Republican Party, or having voted for Donald Trump.
Anyway, thank you, I wanted badly to believe we had men like him coming up the chain, and hearing that he was squishy really bothered me.
My take on "red flag" laws is relatively simple...if they aren't sane enough to own a gun, then they aren't sane enough to be anywhere other than a locked-gate institution, either permanently or until they are certified otherwise.
Of course, I also believe in "three-strikes" laws, so I'm kind of a hard-ass.
LOL, the Left’s solution to that “hard assed” definition would be to make the act of owning a gun a legitimate, confinable mental illness.
Not that far from reality.
