Republicans are knocking it out of the park with political ads and memes
American Thinker ^ | Andrea Widburg

It was already obvious comparing the two conventions: Even though the Democrats own the actors, they don’t own the true creative talent in Hollywood. That all seems to have crossed to the Republican side of the aisle. The Democrat convention was drab and oppressive; the Republican convention was bright and open. It’s the same thing with ads and memes. As far as I know, there are no incredible, knock-it-out of the park Democrat videos. The Republicans, though, are killing it. Here are four of the best.

First, here’s an ad out of Texas showcasing six conservatives running for the House. It is, bar none, the most creative, enjoyable political ad I’ve ever seen. It’s also quintessentially American and Texan. For the sheer pleasure of this ad, Dan Crenshaw, Wesley Hunt, Genevieve Collins, Beth Van Duyne, Tony Gonzales, and August Pfluger should all win their races:

Second, here’s a wonderful video meme. A listener caught a Coffee with Scott Adams episode in which Adams talked about how doing the impossible is a unique American trait. Moreover, he said that Trump, especially, is a master of the impossible. The video pulls together Adams’ talk with a whole lot of American impossibilities, and ends by suggesting the most possible impossibility of them all:

Third, here’s another meme video that highlights, amusingly, how ridiculous Biden is. He has no idea what he’s saying. He’ll read and misread anything on the teleprompter or, perhaps, the words are fed into his brain via a small earpiece – who knows?

Not hard when the DNC and the Left serves up the pitches on a silver platter.

Patriots ALWAYS win the debate in the forum of ideas once they determinedly stand up against the Left and don’t back down, like Trump.

The Left has NOTHING to stand on becsue they stand for NOTHING except their own power and getting YOUR money.

Loved the silly Texas politician commercial...entertaining in an over the top way, but...it is a far, FAR different approach from mostly younger conservative candidates than we have seen in the past.

Most people just tune out political ads to a large degree...that one I think is harder to tune out for many people (whether what that infers is good or bad)

The real reason that the Left needs social media to shut down conservatives is that the Left can’t meme ... at all. They are defenseless in the war of memes.

The “Notorious RBG” is a prime example of their memes. Forced, awkward, cringe, lame, and just awful. They have no idea how to use a cartoon frog. They have no sense of humor. They just run orangemanbad.exe and post orangemanbad.txt over and over. That’s all they have.

That Texas commercial was as good as an action movie. I watched it several times and loved every minute.

I had a great big grin watching it...

I still don’t know about Crenshaw. I have heard he is rubbery on the 2nd Amendment, and I really have a tough time believing that. I have asked if any Texans can comment on that, but haven’t heard anything.

But I enjoyed the commercial...:)

That ad was clever and totally fun. These ads wipe away the smear of conservatives as boring.

Truth is the left is chock full of ancient and mentally ill geezers.

That said, we do have Turtle.

But is anybody seeing them?

Biden is running some bodacious lie on TV every five minutes it seems. Trump’s ads are mostly online where Silicon Valley is shadowbanning them.

Hey! He isn’t just “The Turtle”!

He is not only “The Apex Predator Turtle”, but is also “Cocaine Mitch!”

I like to listen to Nick Di Paolo, and he is the singularly most profane, un-politically correct comedian/political commentator I have ever heard, and the other day he said:

“What is it with McConnell? The guy is friggin paralyzed from the eyebrows down when he talks...”Hi...I’m Mitch McConnell...I’m from Kentucky, and I bang my sister...”

I almost went off the road when he did that impression (with my apologies to my conservative brethren in Kentucky!)

I had to shutdown my Roku for the duration because it was beating me over the head with Biden ads.

Shared “Texas Reloaded.” Definitely fun, and subtly says we are in a cold war that needs a combat attitude. Klacik’s ads are brilliant. It's enhanced throughout with little tidbits appealing to her audience of young Baltimorians, including youthful music, styles, and the inclusive “we.” We are the change, and here's what we can do.

Biden ads being run unopposed nationally on networks mostly viewed by older voters like MeTV - the voters most likely to vote. The polling data on seniors indicates it is having an impact.
