Well, this does it. With the intermittent power supply, the road congestion in California will be eliminated. No electric power to charge these modes of transportation they will come to a stand-still.

Oil companies should IMMEDIATELY announce that California blends will be phased out, ending in 2035.

There will have to be an exception for Hollywood, of course. Can’t make an action movie without a car chase.

This is the typical democrat “boldness”; making a ruling to be in effect long after the doofus is out of politics, or at least out of California, knowing it will never stand. Let someone else deal with it. A ban to take effect now or next year would be just a tad too “bold” for any dem, since the “bold” one would have to own it.

Anything done by executive order, can be undone by some future governor with another executive order - this is just virtue signaling at its worst.

This is hysterical. Newsom cannot govern 15 years into the future, unless he plans to stay the governor that long.
Another governor will come along, perhaps even one with some common sense, and write an executive order of his own.

They are going to need rising sea levels to clean all the vomit, urine and fecal matter off the streets.

I wish he’d phase out gravity, too. That would simplify my vacation cruise to Mars.

He doesn’t have a clue how many ‘donkey engines’ are all over California-—irrigating fields.

They run on fossil fuels, and water fields.

YOU KNOW what fields are: Those expanses of land that California uses to GROW SO MUCH FOOD FOR THE USA......

I don’t think the IA scale goes LOW enough for Newsom.

If you really believes in it and let him do it now, when he’s governor.

Imagine the brush fires PLUS the garage/homes burning from the 240 volts and more amps to the shoddy install of a home charging unit let alone Tesla’s igniting on their own.

We really need a mental test for anyone running for office. This of course means no democrats would ever be elected again : )

This has everything to do with the intense corruption in California and its utilities “regulation,” and precious little to do with ecology. No California politician including Newsome has cleaned up the utilities “regulation” stink (Rather they clean up FROM it). Highest rates and very poor, unreliable service but there’s billions and billions of dollars being made — by Politicians regulators And utilities executives. Off the backs of working Californians

He can’t do that.
Only the Feds can regulate interstate commerce.
