I’ve been to Liberia.
I discovered the first thing the freed slaves did was to enslave the natives.

Exploitation. Plain and simple.
I hope they don't solve it by dumbing down requirements for minorities. My daughter is a manager at Wells Fargo corporate. She says there are a lot of dumb employees, and it makes it difficult to get jobs done. The company has been cutting like crazy, let go contractors and laid off a lot of people over the last couple years. They let go half her staff but increased their projects, and let go some managers at and above her level. Her job is safe for now, but the workload has intensified. Her staff is spread out around the country, so not specific to any one city.
Here’s how it works: You hire for diversity’s sake. You give these people loud titles and 80 percentile salaries, but little real responsibility. They end up mostly talking with each other over long lunches about how oppressed they are.
It’s like a tax.
I have lost count of how times I call an office and know immediately whether l am getting someone who’s an affirmative hire. Sometimes I call back and hope someone else answers the phone.
Best part of Community College, you get stupid subjects out of the way, get to live at home, with no debt, He didn’t just feel superior to his fellow University students, he was a fully grown man among what passes now for girls and bois.
I had to take a test going into community college as a skills assessment, mostly math and English, IIRC. Due to a computer issue mid math test it did place me in a remedial math class.
Eventually I got a re-test and placed in the correct course but somehow I was enrolled in the most remedial math class they had also. That class was literally teaching basic addition, subtraction, order of operations, etc.
I had to bring a paper for that professor to sign saying he saw I had passed the assessment and it wasn’t the right course. A brief discussion ensued and he asked when I graduated HS from. When I mentioned the middle class rural/suburban area he said he rarely gets students from those districts and 98% are form the urban/city diploma mills.
The so-called deep state is filled with mice and wimps.
He apologized.
He’s done.
My Wells Fargo branches are very diverse and the staff are good. The managers are all from minority groups and I don’t care. I just want competent people handling my financial affairs.
Most of my nurses/techs and many specialty doctors in the cancer wards at two major DC area hospitals were from all over the world and they were wonderful, caring, and competent. We had wonderful conversations about where they came from and what they have accomplished here. Good for them. They worked hard and succeeded, the epitome of the American dream.
Time for Black and Liberal colleges giving out fake degrees in “Gender Studies”, “Racism in Between Black and White Penguins”, “Is there really a Planet X to go with the X Gene?”, and other useless courses/degrees and moneysucking programs that enrich minority teacher/professor frauds.
I went to a college in the 60’s where one of my hallmates was from a very poor section of Norfolk, Va., where I had seen discrimination against blacks in the 50’s. This young man, whose mother held three jobs including being a washwoman, housekeeper, etc., worked her butt off to put him through college, and he did very well because he appreciated every sacrifice his mother made for him.
As I have written before, he and I were the only guys on the floor that could wash and iron our own shirts (in order to save money and because we were taught how to do it).
We also had one of the first Vietnamese women to go to a college in the US. She was delightful and informative about Vietnam, as I found out 5 years later.
Nobody gave a damn about “what” your were, only “who” you were as a person, and that’s the way it should be.
Skin color trumps everything, another kneeling fool with no backbone.
