Grand jury decides to indict police officer involved in Breonna Taylors death
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WSAZ) - More than six months after Breonna Taylor was shot by Louisville police officers during a no-knock warrant, a grand jury has decided to charge one of the officers in the case.
Detective Brett Hankison was indicted on three counts of wanton endangerment. Hankison will be booked on a $15,000 cash only bond.
The other two officers involved were not charged.

There will be riots anyway. You are right about that.
But the officer who is indicted does not deserve a pass. He does deserve a trial and he will get one if he wants one.
“Hankison was indicted for shooting 10 rounds from outside Taylors apartment; some of those shots ended up in adjacent apartments, which was why he was indicted.”
Don’t think so who knows.
Yeah. Guess if we’re to hear about it, it’ll come out in the trial.

Correct me if I am wrong, but when Hannity came on he said it was a no knock warrant at the wrong address and Ms Taylor was a great American.
The state AG said it wasn’t a “no-knock” warrant. FAKE “news”.
Please...it’s not a clip. It’s a magazine. Another thing, until you’re there, or know all the facts from those that were, be very careful casting judgement.
I know it’s a stretch, but perhaps Hannity did not have all the information and was wrong?
I must admit I have not followed this very closely. So I’m not sure what happened here.
I listened to the A.G., but have several questions. Please reply if you know the answer.
1. Did the police go to the correct address?
2. Was the current boyfriend, Walker, the target, and were there drugs at the location?
3. Has Walker been charged with anything? Let’s see, he shot first, and forced his girlfriend in the line of fire. Seems some offense there.
That’s it for now.
I really don’t know anything about this case other than a no-knock was in progress.

“...killed for no reason”.
Well - let’s see. She allowed her known drug-dealing ex-boyfriend to continue to use her apartment as a package drop. And when police showed up, KNOCKED REPEATEDLY, then LOUDLY and REPEATEDLY announced themselves and WHY they were there... she (and the guy that was with her) refused to answer. Police breached the door (standard procedure) and immediately were met by gunfire.
Returning fire is standard and essentially automatic in well-trained police.
Maybe she wasn’t the one who fired at police - but she was FAR from an “innocent bystander”.
Who allowed her known drug-dealer boyfriend to continue to regular her apartment and to use her address as a package drop... yeah. What a sweet and “innocent” character... (muppet)
It was the correct address.
Walker was not the target
He was charged with attempted murder, I think, but the charges were dropped pending further investigation. I’ve not read that he forced his girlfriend in the line of fire. There were plenty of shots flying around.
I'd question well trained. 20 to 45 shots depending on the source, five in Breonna Taylor, none in the shooter, Walker. And one of them pouring fire into a window with no idea what was in there.
Daniel Cameron will be the next Governor of Kentucky, then Mitch's replacement.
Thank you.
“Ive not read that he forced his girlfriend in the line of fire..”
Was she shot in the hallway, while standing next to Walker? If so, I can’t believe she stood next to her armed boyfriend on her on volition, while someone was breaking in. She had to know there would be gunfire.
Although it’s possible, I guess.
