The brass won’t— they’ll side with the neo-communists. But they may find that when they give orders for military intervention, almost no one will obey, and base commanders giving orders to assault conservative Americans may find themselves ignored, thrown in the brig or shot by their own men. The Joint Chiefs decide on strategy, the generals on operations, but the NCOs decide what, if anything, actually gets done.
If our military falls into a state of disarray, it will be an invitation for our enemies to attack.
