A new poll suggests the race for the White House between Democratic nominee Joe Biden and President Donald Trump is getting closer in the battleground state of Florida with just a 2 point gap between the two candidates.

Biden has the edge of Trump, 48 percent to 46 percent according to a new poll by CBS News that was published on Sunday.

But the Democrat's lead has been slashed, after a similar poll in July showed him to be 6 points in front.

Humm, I live in west central Florida (conservative area anyway I guess) and I certainly don’t see Biden being that close and I was recently in the Tampa, St Pete area and didn’t see a lot of Biden support, so I guess all of this support in much further south.

This is one swing state I think is relatively safe from being stolen. Florida has a Republican governor. It has absentee and early voting, but not unsolicited mail-in ballots.

That’s why Trump does a lot better with Hispanics than the left would have people believe.

“HOGWASH”!!! Forget all political polls...period!! Trump will beat Biden badly in Florida and Trump will win & carry Florida with a 1,000,000 vote victory over Joe Biden. Let the Democrat scum, vermin waste their campaign money and ads in Florida. The idiot the Dems nominated for POTUs, Joe Biden does not even know where the state of Florida is!!! And when Kamala Harris visited and campaigned in Florida, she pissed people off when she said “Good Morning” to them. This Democrat witch does not have one ounce of class or charisma...she’s only in love with herself!!!

Tune in and watch the Trump rally this week on Thursday in Jacksonville, Florida and you all will clearly see to whom the hearts of Florida belong to!!!

Fox Business channel just posted a WSHJ poll on the Hispanic vote... 62 to 36(Trump). I watched Tom Perez on Fox biz the other day....apparently 300K from Puerto Rico have moved to Florida after Hurrican Maria (Another 80K) to Pennsylvania. His party has been able to track them via their cell hones with at PR area code. They have been working this group heavily. Hispanics are not monolithic. Per law, they cannot vote in a Presidential election in the territory of Puerto Rico but they CAN as residents of Florida and Pennsylvania (Stateside) WAKE up folks, we have to absolutley overwhelm in turnout to overcome these new voting blocs this year. YES, I AM worried. Sneaky as hell but this is how the Dems operate..

And now, with all the riots and violence, many women (naturally peace -seekers) have shifted to Trump. I suspect many are not likely to admit to it.

Trump is not behind in FL, or anywhere he won in 16.

Polls are an even bigger joke today than they were in 16.

Anyone in the ground and remotely understands their states knows the polls are garbage.

It’s laughable.

The only prayer Dems have is massive fraud... and I mean MASSIVE fraud.

I have not seen even ONE Biden sign in any of Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando or Pinellas counties.
I did see a couple of bumper stickers for Biden, but that’s it.

90+% of all polls are push polls. Ignore.

Yep! In my area I’ve been seeing these HUGE trump signs popping up all over the place! Flags, yards signs too. Biden signs? Once in a while. Oh, and the one lonely old fart standing on the corner. I flip him off and call him a commie every time I drive past

“apparently 300K from Puerto Rico have moved to Florida after Hurrican Maria (Another 80K) to Pennsylvania.”

During his second term, I hope Trump begins the process of cutting Puerto Rico loose. It’s a permanent welfare recipient state with predominately gibmedat voters.

I don’t believe this poll. Trump’s going to win Florida by more than he won it last time.
