Deaths per million are worse in the UK, Spain, and Belgium than in the US, even accounting for Democrats like Cuomo forcing nursing homes to accept infected people, driving up death counts.
If you remove NY, NJ, MA, CT, and RI from the mix and average the deaths/million population of the other US states, you get 475. That puts us 17th in the world,behind France, Italy, Sweden, and others. President Trump said as much himself. By all metrics that matter, the US has done as well as anyone during this. Certain Democrat states skewed our numbers a little, but Europe has NOT been some untouched paradise throughout all this, despite their harsh lockdowns and brutally enforced restrictions.
