The civic leaders of Kansas City, Missouri — where Whitlock got his start — refused to do their homework. On Saturday, Black Lives Matter murals were painted on six city streets to address “systemic racism” in a city that, although only one-third black, has a black mayor, sheriff, county executive, and congressman. Of the 13 members of the City Council, the sole Republican was the only one to vote against the project.
Organizers are calling this the largest project of its kind in the world. Six local black artists led the design, a thousand people volunteered to help, and the City of Kansas City invested money it doesn’t have to get the job done.
Like many of my fellow citizens, I now have some sense of how Ukrainians must have felt watching their overlords erect statues of Stalin in their town squares. They were forced not just to endure Soviet lies, but to celebrate them.

Certainly all black lives matter but you must read BLMs manifesto. They want to end Capitalism and the nuclear family. Which means any deadbeat broke ass baby daddy don’t have to work and support his kids. I’m against that.

Jack Cashill does a good job with this article. He does it by sticking to the facts which he knows well, and by telling the story that illustrates how absurd the BLM movement has become. Jason Whitlock is indeed the voice of reason in this mess, but the NFL is not listening. Jack does his best work when he is the master of the story. Much better than his tarpit over TWA 800 where he can’t figure out how man portable air defense systems (MANPADS) really work.
Kansas City was on the cusp of a renaissance with their sports teams, the Royals and the Chiefs, vibrant businesses like Sprint (before they made some fatal moves), architectural firms, and an emerging Prairie Tech sector. Neighborhoods were coming back and the arts were flourishing. Even the border wars were over and the Missouri side embraced the NASCAR track and Sporting KC on the Kansas side. Now it looks like BLM will turn back the clock and make KC just another failed Democrat city.

Lot of street-side maintenance left undone in KC and a Overland Park on my short visit. Old neighbors told us not to go by our old house. They said the new owner ruined my gardens, tore out some ornamental islands and has not painted or maintained the exterior.
DAMMIT! Stop calling them “Marxists”. They are COMMUNISTS!
