One thing that we need to keep in mind is that for high school kids, WWII is as far back as the Spanish War was when I was in school.

A few years ago, I visited the Statue of Liberty. In front of me in line as we waited for the boat, was a pleasant woman and we began talking. She told me she was a school teacher who taught American History. I asked her about the Korean War since we had discussed she teaches WW2. Her answer to me was “Well, remember I only teach American History.” That was an abbreviated version of the chat.

When liberals run things, a lot of other issues will also not be taught or will be twisted to the point that, it's no longer an issue.

The issue that most kids and liberal don't understand or know nothing about, is socialism vs capitalism/free-market system. It's why so many HS graduates and college graduates are so inclined to support socialism and liberalism and democrats, and even communism.
