There are several, well publicized instances where data for both Climate Change and Covid-19 have been manipulated, altered, or lost. Certain forms of inquiry, and outright skepticism of the ideas behind Climate Change and Covid have been deemed forbidden by the likes of people at Scientific American.

Guess there is much more money in printing what people WANT TO HEAR as opposed to what people SHOULD HEAR. Modifying reality is what radical leftists do...the alternate universe seems to be much more appealing to them.
