The Sunday Night Football clash between the Rams and the Cowboys was supposed to halt the ratings crash the NFL has experienced so far in the 2020 season.
Spoiler alert, it most certainly did not halt the ratings crash.
According to DEADLINE Hollywood, ratings for NBCs only weekly NFL game, were down a shocking 28%.

Personally I would rather watch Trump and he will be back into full time campaigning. He is the biggest game going and commercial free. And zero virtual signaling. The triple threat.
I watched some of the So Fi stadium game just to see the stadium
Most of the fans are local team diehard fans. I’m diehard Cowboys since the Dandy Don days as a little kid. I could care less about Chiefs, or Bucs, or Jets. But I see the larger picture in all this and that if the diehard fans support their teams, the ratings dont change, sponsors dont get scared, the Networks don’t start choking off the money train, and the tone deaf league owners think pissing on the flag is OK and BLM terrorists are acceptable. You can do what you want, but the fact is this is a cancer that is destroying the game. Accept it and root for the hometeam and it will only get worse. Boycott, and the financial burdens wake the owners and we get the game back to what it was. Short term pain for long term gain for those of us that love the game and want the politics out of it!
You are probably right, but even the woke corporations don't like losing money, so there will be a fight. The networks can cut their expenses, especially on the production side. The product will suffer. It can be a spiral dive. It will be interesting to see what happens with the ratings for all sports. Golf was the first sport to return and the BLM, social justice, etc. has been reduced to the odd player wearing a black left shoe, and a white one on the right. What a statement! Those guys are independent contractors and the purse is a function of TV revenues and the gate receipts. Golfers have already seen the effect on their bank accounts.
Go broke. Please go broke! Idiots need to stop feeding into these privileged pukes. Stop watching! Stop buying tickets and merchandise!
I take your point, and perhaps true for the Cowboys, Chiefs, Patriots, Rams, and a few others. But, up at the big NFL boardroom, those Excel spreadsheets are not going to look good.
Can the taxpayers take the stadiums back?
Ya , then they can go play with themselves
Trump in NV was what my wife and I watched last night.
Thanks, He did look good.
No, you just bitch about how bad it is then state you watched the game, fake news, fake conservative
Fan attendance started declining with Kaperduck started taking a knee and others followed. That was, what 2016? The camera men quit showing empty stands and only focused on the action on the field. So short term, the teams can blame low attendance on the covid. Wait until there are no more restrictions.
Colin and his followers (owners, players) started a financial tsunami that will eat them all and they have no idea of what is coming.
Despite some folks high hopes for the Cowboys, the sports betting gurus have the Boyz finishing 8-8. I expect the ratings to drop even more when those few still following the Cowboys stop.
Thats what I watched also. And its only going to get better.
“Can the taxpayers take the stadiums back?”
Actually a rare case of a privately funded stadium.
No, you are mistaken. I only do that for the black guys who were my brothers in combat.
You already admitting to cucking for the NFL.
Now just go all the way and wash their feet.
Why don’t you go find a NFL player, tie him to a stake and set him on fire. That will make you feel better.
Ok
Good.
Ive been a football fan all my life, but I just couldnt turn the TV on yesterday - my stomach turned just thinking about it.

Find something better to do. I changed the brakes on my wifes car and it was a bitch (lots of rust). No matter how many sh*ts and f*cks I espoused yesterday I did not give one iota of care that I missed FUNFL. So be it, from this time forward. Starve the beast.
