I live about 10 miles as the crow flies to a over 200,000 acre fire, been inside since last Tuesday, when it erupted. Cannot see more than about 50-100 yards and it hurts if you go out without a N95 mask.

It seems worse now on day 6, I was doing a little gardening work last week in my N95 mask, I could only take an hour or two, its so bad, no wind for nearly a week! That smoke you smell in Washington is our billions of timber board feet of Douglas fir going up in smoke.
