I feel your pain, OSB and YP are killing me at work. Makes me sick looking at what I paid in April vs today. In a couple weeks hopefully we’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel!
A friend of mine bought a house in Idaho and even put $5,000 down (it is in a new construction neighborhood and had not been started.
Well, I have never bought a hose this way, so I don’t know how they were able to do this, but they bumped the price by $100,000. It looks like they are going to walk away from the $5k and find an existing home on the market. First priority is to sell their Bonney Lake house, which would have gone fast if not for the antifa arson fires.
Please, what happens in a couple weeks to effect price of lumber? I’m trying to build an add-on to my house, and my contractor shocked me with his cost estimate on the lumber. Also big problem getting siding.
