Please, what happens in a couple weeks to effect price of lumber? I’m trying to build an add-on to my house, and my contractor shocked me with his cost estimate on the lumber. Also big problem getting siding.
Availability is finally starting to catch up - on the buying side the prices are starting to plateau a little but it’ll probably be a couple months (After Jan 1) before It trickles down and gets to something resembling normal. It’s record high prices right now and we have to work through all our “expensive” stuff that’s jacked up our average costs before it trickles down if that makes sense.
