Well now that I have to wear a mask to shops at the store, travel by plane and wear a mask at the VFW dance (at least we can have a dance now starting Sept 1). BUT wearing a mask totally takes the fun out of everything so I prefer to stay home

Early on Trump should have recognized Fauci for the insidious influence he is (as many on this forum did) and acted quickly to marginalize or remove him from his advisory position. Fauci has been all over the place in his opinions and pronouncements, he has strong ties with Democrats, is sympathetic toward China, and likely has financial conflicts of interests.

He is clearly part of the leftist cabal that is working to remove Trump from office by any means possible.

The problem Fauci has is that nobody really cares what he says anymore. Sure, there are some. But people have moved on. They have adapted and moved on to living their lives.

Covid has become white noise at this point.

But as for Fauci, he is a career bureaucrat. Ever notice that he never sees any solution, ever, at all. Why? Because ingrained in every fiber of his being is the need to prolong problems. To the bureaucrat, problems are job security. Solutions are abhorred. A guy like Fauci lives to prolong problems, not solve them.

Regardless, his act is tiresome and people are tired of it.

Exactly...mask mandates (mostly ignored in rural areas) are set to expire soon here in East Tennessee. I can GUARANTEE 'county Mayors' will ALL renew them when the time comes, even though cases and deaths continue to drop...the media already has the 'renewal stories' written. Talk about 'group think'. It would be GREAT just to see ONE Mayor go 'independent'...health officials won't let that happen, though.
