That’s exactly what some universities are doing. Segregating dorms for “people of color”.
They could have gone to Syria and Bought Half the Damn Country, created their own new system and lived happily ever after.
My guess is if they are pooling their resources they’ve incorporated. So, buying and selling the property would require a vote from the “shareholders.” I doubt if there will be individual lots. If there ARE individual lots, you probably couldn’t discriminate.
Oh trust me, I am all for a group of people deciding to segregate themselves if that’s what makes them happy. Pursuit of happiness is a right after all. I also subscribe to the belief that as Americans decide to segregate themselves they also divide themselves from the national culture and this grow to hate the rest of the country. That hate and unwillingness to respect the national culture breeds seditious thinking and begets the rise of socialism. This is why Marxism preaches the tenants of grouping people and setting them against other groups. You know, united we stand, divided we fall?
