The FR sidebar "Breaking News" now runs so behind time that it's useless. Evidently, there's no "keeper" of that feature that works to keep it up to the hour as much as possible. Wonder why that is. If it's kept up, it's a valuable tool for freepers. Oh, well.....

If you tag something Breaking News it usually gets pulled and then something from three weeks ago goes back to the top. Oh well, overall, I like the Free Republic website. But it does have it’s quirks.
