I might be able to go 500-600 yards with my .270 but if you want quiet kills I’m looking at 100-125 yards with subsonic .22

No mile shooting for me.

I've had a .270...loved that gun. But a kid in town needed a deer rifle..and I cut him a good deal.

Had my mind on buying a .308 lever action rifle..and I found one and bot it....

I've taken a 600 yd shot on a yote...but never on a deer.

Prolly the longest gun shot I had on a buck was 200 yds...And I've killed some good ones.

I'd be hard put to shoot something at a mile...
