Though left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore will be pulling the lever for Joe Biden this November, he has not failed to let his discontent be known regarding the former vice president’s election conduct.
Over the weekend, after Biden accepted the endorsement of former Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, a Republican, the “Bowling for Columbine” director scolded the presidential candidate for going after “white racist redneck votes.”
“The Biden campaign, in an effort to convince Flint voters to stay home on Nov 3 and lose Michigan again, happily announced & embraced the endorsement of former Gov. Rick Snyder — the man who poisoned Flint’s water. 10,000 children [with] permanent brain damage,” Michael Moore tweeted. “Countless dead. Shame!”

Biden’s Team is not performing due diligence on these endorsements. Lucky for us. The industrial waste in Flint water has been a well known story for the last three or four years.

So Michael moves into an area just south of the Mackinac Bridge, and is Loathed to find out that the local population are country folk who have been there for generations... And he refers to them as rednecks. Yhey call themselves pineys and they are come from very hard-working stock... and times have not been good for them since the mid 70s.. and it’s been a depressed area ever since... and money from the big cities such as Chicago comes up there sucks up property and drives real estate through the roof and the local people can no longer afford to live there, but they remain and they are an eyesore because they can’t afford things like new siding, or good lawn equipment, or fine new cars. But Michael Moore has money and he doesn’t like the fact that he is chosen a place to live where alot of the local people do not.

Thanks for the info. Mike could easily start some kind of movie studio, souvenir shop or acting school in that area, to offer employment, but he doesn’t.

I never knew any of that about my state of Michigan. My relatives lived in Port Austin, East Tawas, Oscoda, Saginaw and elsewhere mostly in the Thumb Area and only a few farther north. My gt.,gt. grandfather after whom I was named (first and middle names) is buried in Port Austin. He enlisted and fought under General Sherman in the Civil War.
All rednecks got the name from bending forward to use a pick or shovel or do farm labor to make a living. Hard work all day with the hot Sun from behind shining onto their necks gave them sunburn and tan. Thus red necks.
I never thought about that until hockey coach and TV host Don Cherry told the origin while defending right wingers.
He needs to open a first-of-its-kind enterprise: a souvenir shop that provides free souvenirs and an acting school that is free to all students.
And perhaps a movie studio, where all union technicians and actors work for free!
