President Trump has suggested that a vaccine for COVID-19 could be available as early as October, which, naturally, has Democrats concerned, as the approval and distribution of a vaccine prior to the election could certainly change the dynamic in his favor.
As a result, questioning the efficacy of any vaccine that comes before the election has become a new theme of the Biden-Harris campaign.
“As we enter the height of election season, President Trump should assure us all that the White House will respect the independent authority of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to decide, free from political pressure, if the vaccine is safe and effective,” Biden said in a statement in July.
In an interview with CNN set to air on Sunday, Kamala Harris also cast doubt on a potential vaccine for COVID-19.
“Do you trust that in the situation where we are in now, that the public health experts and the scientists will get the last word on the efficacy of a vaccine?” asked CNN’s Dana Bash.
“If past is prologue, then they will not. They’ll be muzzled, they’ll be suppressed, they will be sidelined,” Harris claimed, without evidence. “Because he’s looking at an election coming up in less than sixty days, and he’s grasping for whatever he can get to pretend that he’s been a leader on this issue when he’s not.”
“Well, I think that’s going to be an issue for all of us. Ummm, I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump and it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about, ummm, the ummm, efficacy and the reliability of whatever he’s talking about. I will not take his word for it.”

COVID is the most successful TOOL OF FEAR that has effectively armed the FASCISTS, to allow them the control necessary to impose their wicked policies.
While I agree with everything you’re saying about the Democrats trying to make sure Trump doesn’t get credit for anything, I will not accept anything into my body that I don’t believe has been tested effectively. That’s one. Number two, I will not accept anything into my body that was produced from cells harvested from a live human being. Respect those of us making choices for a body that is completely totally hours and no one else’s.
The script simply flips 180 degrees on a whim depending on the situation and the narrative need.
1) Narrative 1: Trump isn’t doing enough to get a vaccine ready quickly.
2) Narrative 2: Trump is rushing a vaccine (after Narrative 1 is proven to obviously be false).
See? President Dr. Trump IS a uniter!

Biden & Harris are a trainwreck of a campaign. They both contradict themselves daily when they even bother to appear.
To heck with Biden and Harris. I’m not willing to take a vaccine that has been rammed through to meet an election day deadline. I’ll wait for phase 2 or phase 3.

Some of the proposed vaccines are in phase 3 trials. One, by Moderna, uses mRNA so there is no chance of it causing Covid. Just enables the body to essentially create its own vaccine. With 30000 participants in phase 3 about 100 should be diagnosed with Covid each month based on the current spread of the disease in the US. It will be interesting to see if they can claim victory fairly quickly if they get 0 cases in the vaccinated half and the statistical expectation in the placebo group. If that’s the case no reason not to make it available to those willing to take it by November, barring side effects that are extreme and haven’t been seen so far.
