There was more than one site of mail being discarded.
IF your town has to be know nationwide, why not for having
the U. S. mail dumped here and there?
I used to deliver mail when I was in my late teens here in Los Angeles [IOW, over 50 years ago.
There is a long history of letter carriers dumping mail. They just do not want to deliver it ...too much walking and work.
This was the article I read earlier. That mentions 2 parking lots (this is a copy and paste from a post I made earlier on another thread)
