The row over Donald Trump’s alleged remarks denigrating American soldiers has now seen the US president target one of his core areas of support as he called for a Fox News journalist who reported details of the scandal to be fired.
The Atlantic magazine published a story that described how Trump said he cancelled a visit to pay respects at an American military cemetery outside Paris in 2018 because he thought the dead soldiers were “losers” and “suckers”. Other outlets confirmed the news and detailed more incidents of Trump’s insulting attitude to American soldiers.

I remember when Jennifer Griffin was instrumental in negotiations to release Fox News Channel journalists Steve Centanni and Olaf Wiig, who were taken hostage by a startup Palestinian terrorist group in 2006.
I never understand why people with otherwise stellar credentials succumb to career-ending stunts like this.

Me too. We watch OANN during the day, and only watch specific programs on FOX...Judge Jeannie really ripped this story apart tonight! She was angry. Tucker, Hannity, Ingraham, Levin, and several others are watchable. But some of them are as liberal as CNN on FOX so be SELECTIVE!

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.. Presumably a “journalist” was there, one Jennifer Griffin. Except for sit-down interviews, I have NEVER seen one single “journalist” cover the President alone, and at a public outing by the President cameras and recorders are ALWAYS running.

Then produce a simple voice recording! Oh, you can’t. Interesting.

He's on record making that same crack in 2018.

There is no record of President Trump worrying about his hair, but there is a record of Frum joking about it at the time.
I'm calling out Frum as the source of this hair comment that is behind The Atlantic article.

I was wondering how Tucker was allowed to go so hard. The younger Murdoch resigned the board could be the answer?
I worry about the debates (if they occur at all). Moderators + Biden, v. Trump. President Trump doesn't hold back when attacked, he doesn't do defense; and he's POTUS now, has to set a different tone from what he had in 2016. They'll be baiting him, poking the bull all night, and he has to stay serene and on point. Let Biden make a fool of himself, he doesn't need any help.
