The row over Donald Trump’s alleged remarks denigrating American soldiers has now seen the US president target one of his core areas of support as he called for a Fox News journalist who reported details of the scandal to be fired.
The Atlantic magazine published a story that described how Trump said he cancelled a visit to pay respects at an American military cemetery outside Paris in 2018 because he thought the dead soldiers were “losers” and “suckers”. Other outlets confirmed the news and detailed more incidents of Trump’s insulting attitude to American soldiers.

She did not confirm with sources on more innuendo, So anybody can say anything about him without proof.

There is no “proof”. This is similar to a he said / she said situation. Somebody says Trump said something. They “confirm” it by finding another anonymous source who says that they heard Trump say something. This is the sort of event which is impossible to prove or disprove.
But it does the job of providing grist for the mill for the media and the Biden campaign.
I’m sure the Sunday shows tomorrow will drive this story into the ground, and the august talking head panel members will dissect this story for us, and all conclude that Trump behaved in an outrageous manner. So we don’t even have to watch the shows tomorrow to know what will be said.

Had the radio on in garage today - every story on Fox Radio was severely anti-Trump. Had to turn it off at the hour and half - hour.
FOX has pretty much done the same. Featuring Biden supporters and Trump haters and broadcasting all of Biden’s “news conferences” joke.
Not one mention in the article of the several people who were there that say they never heard him say it.
With the exception of Melania.
The evidence from all other sources is that her contacts lied to her and are using her credibility for their own benefit. If they were not cowards they would make their charges in public and release her from her agreement with them. Let them stand on their own and not hide behind Jennifer Griffin.
Unfortunately the more Trump defends himself the more this BS story stays alive. It’s a no win.

Actually Jennifer Griffin has been one of the best investigative reporters at Fox News. But if we don’t know her basis for the confirmation she really screwed up on this one.
But I would bet that she got a little shove from Fox News management. They are in love with this story and are giving it a huge share of their airtime. Things are not really well at our favorite network. They need some real competition.
