If I go to an ATM and I try to withdraw $100 ... and the machine gives me $200 while only debiting $100 from my account ... did I rob the bank?

Unlike an armed bank robbery, voting twice under the scenario I presented can easily be done INADVERTENTLY.

Your analogy is completely off. A more accurate one would be if you went and voted once and they counted it twice. That's their fault, not yours.

There is nothing accidental about mailing in a ballot and then showing up in person wanting to vote. Assuming the system worked and they told you at the poll that your ballot had already been cast they could still arrest you for attempted vote fraud.
