A legal team says it will defend Kyle Rittenhouse, charged in the fatal shooting during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, this week, and has set up a fund for the 17-year-old’s legal fees.
Rittenhouse of Antioch, Illinois, has been charged with multiple counts, including first-degree intentional homicide, in the shooting that killed two people and injured a third.
Videos from protests in Kenosha on Tuesday night show Rittenhouse armed with an AR-15 and describing himself as part of a militia protecting businesses.
A legal team from the #FightBack Foundation said it will be part of Rittenhouse’s defense team. #FightBack Foundation Inc. was incorporated in Texas effective Aug. 12, according to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
Lawyer L. Lin Wood said he helped form the foundation with “a mission to protect and defend our Constitution on many fronts.”
“Kyle’s defense is one of those fronts,” Wood said in an email.

I agree with that. Seeing him on the ground reminded of the LA riots and Reginald Denny being beaten savagely by a bunch of gang monkeys.If the kid didn't shoot he would probably would have been beaten just as severely.

Not really "safe." The Antifa/BLM types are trying to find out where he is being held in Illinois to kill him for killing two of their own. His safety is even more doubtful when he is moved to Wisconsin where statements by the Dem Rat governor publically called an "armed militant."

You're right. He might have to go into the witness protection program. And how can he get a fair trial in Wisconsin when the Rat governor labels him as an armed out-of-state militant who murdered two people and wounded a third?
BTW, I donated $50 to his defense fund.
