They’ve tried to get that one changed several times, with no success. I suppose, with enough effort it will happen sometime.

This reminds me of PETA objecting to the name ‘Fishkill NY’, without understanding what the name means.

Be careful. That’s Indian country and they might not like changing the name. I forgot the tribal name, but it is a wealthy tribe with a casino and quite an income from other sources, as I understand.

Up in BC they dealt with the situation by simply shortening the name.
