Shannon Sharpe, co-host of FS1’s Undisputed, has proclaimed that being a black man is the “hardest job [he’s] ever had.”
During the August 28 broadcast of Undisputed, Sharpe, who is reportedly worth 12 million, was discussing NFL executive Troy Vincent’s comments about the boycotts that coursed through professional sports in response to the Jacob Blake shooting.
It brought to Sharpe’s mind how blacks are oppressed in America and how hard it is to be black.
“The hardest job I’ve ever had was being black. Because you don’t get paid for it, it’s a heavy burden to bear and you can’t get good at it because all you’ll ever be is black. And no matter what you become, it’ll always be proceeded by being black,” he said.
“It’s the hardest job in America,” he continued. “Because you don’t get paid for it. And it’s a heavy burden to bear. And you can’t get food at it. Because all you’ll ever be is black.”
By the way, the oppressed Sharpe has an estimated net worth of between $12 and 18 million.

Well, I’d like him to trade places with my grandmother’s family from Lemberg/Lvov/Lviv, (AustroHungarian Empire/Poland/Ukraine at various times) regarding “being black was the hardest job” he ever had.

All my grandmother’s sisters/brothers and their 2-3 generations of relatives/children/grandchildren were shot in a mass execution at a sandpit on the edge of town, or deported to Belzec Concentration Camp where only 5 people survived out of tens of thousands held there, or few a few others, they were killed in the gas-chambers of Auschwitz and then burned out of existence in their ovens;

But I think there is hope for a cure. Through genetics with the use of recombinant DNA, it should be possible to turn black people white. After all, its just a genetic pigment problem and it could make their lives sooo much better.

Not wasting my time to watch this anymore. I’ve been “listening” for decades.
I didn’t do any of what he complains about to anyone, nor to him, nor do I know anyone who did that to anyone.
“Racism” is trap, where people project their worst image of race-based acts and their frequency and intensity, some images acquired from fiction, onto victim’s vague stories of oppressors.
All of us are Individual people who have been victims of individual acts of evil in our past. It’s not “systemic”, other than it’s all caused by the devil, who doesn’t care what your skin color is.

America is unimaginably huge, in terms of land, resources and people. At any given moment those people are being conceived, born, educating themselves, working, loving, fighting and dying. Due to social media, the news and other focus factors, we focus in on tiny aspects of these many processes with no overall perspective. A friend once described society as a blanket thrown over an infinite number of individuals. Sometimes due to Brownian motion the blanket appears to move one way or another, but this is illusion. The individuals are infinite and their attitudes and actions are in every imaginable direction.
Having said that, I am tired of the focus we suddenly have on race. There is so much more to look at.

They really are insufferable now. I tuned into Fox SPORTS radio yesterday for a bit while driving. All was normal sports banter for a few mintues and then the black host launched a very awkward summary of the life and times of the black panther MOVIE star who died. These black athletes have thier marching orders to inject race into EVERYTHING. Presumably the orders are coming from no less than Team Kenya (Obama).

Wow, how unappreciative of what he has, some earned and some given to him because he is black. He can freely speak and freely think what he wants to speak and think. Yet his skin color causes him oppression.

Was it pretty tough for Dr. Ben Carson who rose to medical excellence through hard work and support of many who recognized his gumption and ignored his color? You can only be as oppressed as you want to be, Black or White.

This hypocritical coward would never admit that he was given millions because he’s black. It’s clear to anyone who hears him speak that he would never be hired as a commentator with his language deficiencies, if he was white.
He speaks like Obama or any educated black or white person. He’s immensely wealthy and respected in his sport. He’s just going through black guilt and he knows he’s totally privileged.

I’ll never watch “Undisputed” again. Sharpe is an ignorant, crybaby, manchild, rich, liberal, clown. While me and my US Army brothers & sisters were fighting in Iraq & Afghanistan for $40K per year he’s making millions and perpetually whining and complaining about how bad his life is and how discriminated against he is. You hear him speak for one minute and you realize this guy has a lot of problems and really needs to get off CNN, pick up a Bible, and go back to school.
