WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump will travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, amid fury over the police shooting of Jacob Blake in the back, which left the 29-year-old Black man paralyzed.
White House spokesman Judd Deere told reporters aboard Air Force One on Saturday that Trump will be meeting with law enforcement officers and “surveying” some of the damage from recent protests that turned destructive.
The visit is certain to exacerbate tensions in the city, where a crowd of about 1,000 demonstrators gathered outside a courthouse Saturday to denounce police violence.
Trump has been running his reelection campaign on a law-and-order mantle, denouncing protesters as “thugs" while voicing his support for police.

This might be a big day for Trump. Not sure how he bests approaches the subject, but definitely an opportunity to lead. Glad he is going.
I'm confident he has a strategy all figured out.
He's not one to leave anything on the table when he leaves.
Maybe that's an issue that hurts lefties' backsides the most. But it is dead-ass wrong.
Trump is running his campaign, upstream, against headwinds, against bureaucracies, against violence, against the media, against dems and repubs -- and he's doing it with the calm aplomb of the finest leader I have ever seen in my 74 years.
He is running his campaign on having been the best president ever and on the hope that his second term will be better still. And, OK, fine, you can throw law and order in there too if it makes you feel any worse.
They would just LOVE to see something happen.
Biden will contine to monitor the situation safely from his Basement Bunker.

In my view that is the whole point of the article, because whatever violence occurs then justifies the claim “See, we told you that would be the result of him going there.”
Actually Biden cancelled because they couldn’t risk the optics of protest, demonstrations and violence if he went. There is no controlling the Dem mob anymore.

He needs to stay away. It could be dangerous for him. The FIB, local police and State cops won’t protect him. And what will result in visit? Threats to send Feds. Won’t happen. I believe he is cornered. Better to let it burn until Nov.?
If Trump does sit and chat w/ Police and either together or separately with black leadership/clergy, it would be an awesome visual. With Biden in the basement and the Gov of WI saying don’t come.
