The scene on Tuesday night was something I had only seen in photos of war-torn countries. Men and women stood with baseball bats, hand-guns, semi-automatic rifles, and shotguns in front of their businesses and homes.
Kenosha, Wisconsin is situated in the southern part of the state, about an hour and a half from Chicago, and has a population of approximately 100,000. Republican Rep. Bryan Steil, who represents Kenosha in Wisconsin’s First Congressional district, told The Federalist the city “is like a lot of cities in Wisconsin.” Steil says Kenosha is “family-centered” and “hard-working.”
Kenosha became a very different place after police shot Jacob Blake in the back seven times. Subsequent video footage showed that Blake was armed with a knife and had been wrestling with officers, threw off a Taser, and was disregarding police commands to stop after they were called to address a domestic violence complaint.
During the Katrina mess police departments all over the South were suited up and ready to assist New Orleans. They were NOT invited by the mayor of New Orleans... Really, our police have to follow the laws too.
If the police are 'overwhelmed' their scummy democrat filthy mayors can call for help. Neighboring police will come in, the feds will come, the National Guard will come.
Democrat mayors don't want help because they're hoping some hot head fool will come and make their Biden dreams come true.

One little point... actually the author is correct. I have lived in Kenosha for 31 years. There is indeed a neighborhood known as Uptown in Kenosha, located in the in the center city, west of Downtown (which is east of Sheridan Rd near the Lake). Uptown is an older retail area primarily along 22nd Avenue between Roosevelt Rd/63rd St & 60th St, which was decimated on the 2nd night of the rioting. Many of you have seen pictures of the Danish Brotherhood Hall being completely consumed by flames. This was located in this neighborhood, and was where the older gentleman was brutally attacked as he tried to defend it. A good friend of ours lost his business along Roosevelt Rd, and people lost their homes who lived in apartments above these businesses.
Seeing long-time, well-loved family businesses intentionally reduced to piles of burnt rubble is surreal. We were attacked. I am still so sickened, angry & exhausted that I can barely put any of this into words. We have barely slept all week. Our neighborhood has been quiet and well-away from the violence, but no one feels safe or is letting down their guard.
As an added note... we were driving out in the county today, west of I-94. Unlike the city, the county is conservative and leans Republican. I am happy to report seeing MANY Trump signs! I have also seen Trump signs cropping up here in the city, which for the most part didn't happen in 2016.

Hey.. if you are so sure that Police arent overwhelmed. Ask those cops in those cities if they can respond to a domestic issue within an hour while they are out in the streets during those riots?

Besides two tazers not being effective, besides wrestling with officers, besides having a fishgutting knife in his hand, Blake was in possession of babymomma’s stolen car keys and chances were high he was about to steal babymomma’s car the children were in, endangering the children. But that information was withheld.
As for Kyle, he had worked at a community pool earlier in the day, so he was, indeed, a ‘local’, was part of a team cleaning grafitti that afternoon and was asked by a business owner to help guard his car lot and 2 mechanics shop. After going to the gas station to render first aid to protestors, he was blocked from going back to his original post where he was safe by the PD. Which is how he ended up at the second mechanics shop, where cars were being vandalized and fires attempted, chased by a mob who were verbally indicating they wanted to do harm to him.
Kyle was in tune with the so-called ‘spread the love’ attitude of Kenosha. Blake obviously was not.

Of course they( the dems and the progs) are scared to death....they just saw how well many rural teens can really hunt and shoot. The deep state just realized that their revolution will not be an “easy velvet slip in the back and now we are all commies”...type experience.
It will be messy should they continue to push and the nation may very well balkanize over such a situation.

Good idea. But how would would you do that short of building a wall round the places?
How about raiding the perps places of living? Simply infiltrate within the rioters and have them follow to their homes. Get warrants and search the place and get their computer systems and go on from there.
I've got room for a 2020 Corvette and GT500; they'll get the best spots, maybe even the garage.

Actually a bit closer to an hour. I lived in Fox Point, about ten miles north of downtown Milwaukee, before I moved to TN. Kenosha is about 45 miles north of downtown Chicago and the farthest stop north on the Metra out of Chicago. Also about 45 miles south of downtown Milwaukee.
I think the Democrats just kissed any chance of carrying Wisconsin goodbye.
