Here is a prediction about the November election: If Donald Trump wins, in a trustworthy vote, what’s happening this week in Kenosha, Wisconsin, will be one reason. Maybe the reason. And yet Joe Biden has it in his power to spare the country a second Trump term.

For Biden to just now condemn the violence would seem a cheap cynical, defensive and obviously transparent trick. With no reason but to try and save his sorry privileged white arse!
Imagine if Biden had not conveniently been hidden in his basement by the COVID panic and had as the even presumptive nominee to actually campaign. If his performance in the primaries was any indication, his dog faced pony soldier gaffes would have gotten so severe that he would have been replaced by the DNC. Now he must campaign and especially do at least one debate with Trump. There is an almost certainty he will come off as befuddled, beligerant or incoherent.

To late, Biden had to do this long ago in Portland, but he kept silent and let the siege against Portland go on for months. It's too late for Biden even with a sycophantic press.
Republicans can just ask then, why did Biden let Portland (etc.) burn then?

Of note: Nothing today in the mainstream national media about violence anywhere. Even the local Sacramento Bee shifted a story about broken windows, spray paint and cops hit with rocks...to the back section. And it happened last night.
It appears the media will play the Democrat’s illusory game, but the rioters may not.

I wish I could be confident about Biden blowing any debate. But when he debated Sarah Palin, he was ruthless, and we know he will not be constrained by rules or by the truth in any debates. I am not so sure he will choke. I hope I’m wrong, but he fooled me before.
Working blue collar dems see no one on the D list has their backs. They see their businesses in flames and their pols doing absolutely nothing about it except encouraging more destruction and bltant virulent racism against whites.

That debate was 12 years ago. He is not the same man he was then (and he was an idiot then!). He is so used to being surrounded by sycophants, he is unfiltered. That’s why videos like him bragging about holding back money to Ukraine exist: it never occurs to him things like that would be a problem.

I think the mysterious "they" that runs the DNC always knew that Biden was going to be a loser, but they felt confident that they could either drag him over the line or keep it close enough to claim that the election was stolen and keep that going for another four years.
If they're actually getting panicked it is, I think, because it's getting very possible that not only could Biden lose, but he could lose by a margin outside the realms of claimed cheating.
If they don't have the "Trump cheated" story going, they'll actually have to come to terms with blowing the presidential election in 2016 and failing to unseat Trump in the subsequent coup efforts. This fantasy land where they have been living in where Trump isn't a duly elected President who actually won by playing by the rules is going to collapse their reality. They don't want to live in a country with citizens who vote for Trump in the first place, much less one where a candidate like Trump could be sufficiently popular that he could win a majority of electoral votes or heaven forbid even the national popular vote.
