It's not a local crime...this is one of the preeminent issues in the presidential race. You are tone deaf and don't get it. Safety is an important issue for all voters, but particularly women voters in the suburbs. It is a political masterstroke that shows Trump cares about crime and safety and he is working for us. It gives him a really big megaphone to show the women voters what he is doing to ensure safety and what the democrats are doing to ensure safety, which is absolutely nothing.

This is a perfect wedge issue that any good politician will exploit to the max. Literally millions of votes can be swayed on this issue.
