I agree, and baseball is about as “America” as it gets.
It was but that train left the station long ago. It’s now 30% Hispanic and has relatively few American black players. It’s solidly the 3rd sport in the US after the NFL and NBA. We really have a big two of pro sports now. All the other sports are secondary. Only baseballs long season keeps their revenue up.
