In Kenosha, The Seeds of Civil War: Antifa rioters reap a bitter harvest in a once-placid Wisconsin town.

...

By Tuesday night, armed groups of volunteers, who could be defined as militia or perhaps vigilantes, had congregated in Kenosha with a mission to protect those businesses surviving the first two nights of violence. One of them appeared to be a libertarian group whose message to the Antifa and Black Lives Matter “mostly peaceful” rioters was that if they wanted to torch government buildings or fight the police, they were indifferent; looting and burning private property, however, was not acceptable.

Included in that group was a 17-year-old from Antioch, Illinois, just on the other side of the border named Kyle Rittenhouse, who reports say is the son of a local policeman. Earlier Tuesday Rittenhouse had joined volunteers in washing graffiti off the outer walls of the main building at a high school in Kenosha. How he ended up holding a long gun with much older adults in that militia group Tuesday night is unclear.

It’s also unclear how Rittenhouse got separated from the group. What is known is as the group massed to defend a gas station from a gaggle of Antifa/BLM types who grew increasingly hostile, elements of the Antifa side made their way to a nearby car lot where they attempted to set vehicles aflame and took baseball bats to windshields in an attempt at wholesale destruction of private property.

Not long after that, as visible from video collected at the scene, Rittenhouse was being chased by an individual, described as a 36-year-old from Kenosha, who threw something at him. Reports had it the object was a Molotov cocktail; if that’s true, it either wasn’t lit or didn’t ignite. Rittenhouse turned and shot the individual, who collapsed to the ground with a bullet to the head and expired shortly thereafter.

Starting to sound like there’s mucho evidence indicating Kyle acted in self defense and the perps were felonious scum.

“I’ve even heard the head shot victim was not shot by him. It’s a pistol wound.”

It would be funny as hell if he was shot by a fellow rioter who was aiming for Kyle.

I think what Antifa wants is a Kent state thing - government forces shooting, wounding, or killing them.

Then they’d use that to rouse up more rioters and etc.

I think mist of them underestimated the strength of individual citizens and the second amendment. If they are being funded by foreigners or by echo chamber liberals, our right to self defense probably did not enter the equation.

Portland didn’t help because the people there are apparently so cucked that they didn’t fight back.

They expected another cakewalk. Not this time.

It reminds me of 9/11. I think the terrorists were very unprepared for the bravery and vinegar of the passengers that made them ditch in the field. They come from Islamic countries where the Strong Man makes everyone cower in fear. They had no apprehension of American grit.

From link:

You may have caught a break in that your nemesis turned out to be a 17-year-old you can cancel as a crazed would-be school shooter, but the next incident might very well run your people up against decorated Navy SEALS or Marines or retired cops with unblemished service records. Or just plain pillars of the community well-versed in firearms. Or maybe; just maybe; some old coot that is finally pushed over the edge.

How did the arm shot guy retain grip of his pistol?

Maybe his hand was locked in that position after having a good chunk of his arm shot off. Lots of tendons in that area connected to the hand.

I have to say he seemed pretty cool about it considering. I wonder what he was on.

I don’t live too far from Kenosha and before the universal house arrest my husband and I would make several visits a year. Its about 100,000 population with a down at the heels downtown but a very pretty lakefront. A lot of the big box stores are on the outskirts. We were there about a month ago and pleased the town look intact and the statue of Christopher Columbus was not destroyed.

Pistol shots were heard. I think the antifa armed paramedics were shooting at this kid and the psycho chasing him ran into the fire. He was shot on the right side of the head as he was running straight at the fleeing young defender. In looking at all the video, the one from another angle showed it better than the first video I saw. I never saw Kyle turn and fire on this head shot guy. He was hit by a shooter beside the business or in the alley behind it. Also lots of people in black seen running away from that area, too.

Look again, it’s a plastic bag that he was carrying earlier at the gas station confrontation. Probably had a can or frozen bottle inside to sap someone with but claim it was just his lunch. You can see it laying on the ground later.

Doing a quick read, Kenosha generated $200M in tourism revenue before the pandemic. They were ranked as the 4th county in the state for tourism revenue. The 3rd quarter is the peak quarter for tourism. If they have to shutdown for any length of time or tourists are scared away, it will be a double disaster..
