Martha and Bret Baier started the commentary before the opera singer started singing. They basically said Washington has never seen anything like this, gave him positive reviews. Then Chris started with his negative review, saying all the fireworks were in the sky, not in the speech. At 70 min. it was too long, he’s heard better. Brit agreed, but said it packed more wallop than the Dems. Dana was more forgiving, said it was too long, but conventions are for the delegates and the people, not the talking heads, said speech got better as it went, he was good on the law and order portion. Juan said it was a re-run with no punch, wasn’t grand. Rove gave a breakdown of the speech, how many words were spoken on each topic. Donna said it was low energy.

After this ending to the convention, I would never hold another one at a convention center. This blew away any and all conventions of the past. It’s making the liberals’ heads explode. They are going nuts. We Americans loved it. Great speech, great atmosphere, stunning fireworks.
