The Church here in the Rust Belt threw in with the Labor Movement and the Democrats back in the 1930’s, and most Catholics still reflexively vote that way. It’s always turned my stomach.

Have you been polled on this election?

In normal times, the Democrats need 93% of blacks to guarantee the win. Republicans need 13%. Last time Trump got 8%. I don’t think he’ll get over 20%, but I could definitely see 15%. Hopefully that will be enough to overcome the margin of mail in fraud.

Yes, that's also true.

At which point, things get seriously ugly, thanks to the Communists.

Zogby had black support at 36%.

Looking at all the polls it’s probably in the 20-30% range which is devestating to Dems.

(Maybe it’s even higher and they don’t want to say when polled)

Probably better than the Northeast where they threw in to the pedophile movement.

Found Rasmussen’s weighting:

Polling 101: For Our Myth-makers - Our Weighting

Our August 2020 likely voters survey weighting of D37, R33, Ind30 is unchanged from our July 2020 LV weighting. And both are little changed from our Nov 2016 weighting, when we saddened the “analysts.”

Yes. I get polled regularly leading up to all major elections - on both conservative and leftist issues. I must be on a list. Some are in-person calls, some are robocalls, and just a few days ago, something new - a text poll. I received one just Tuesday that was focused on a Virginia sick-leave bill, which is strange, because I live in New York.

I always assume a different guise. For that one, I was a pacific-islander grandmother of 5 and green-party supporter who was very concerned about the effects on small business.

Actually, Rasmussen showed Trump getting 9% of black vote in 2016 (at least in May’s polling). He ended up getting 8%. Pretty accurate, in my opinion. I’m just saying that there’s reason for optimism, and I’m guessing the rioting is giving Trump a boost.

Democrats apparently believed their own racist propaganda that black people are stupid.

As to the Catholic vote, here are the facts: The Catholic vote is a certain tell as to which side will win. Since 1952 no Republican who got more than 49% lost and no Demorat that got less than 48 has won. In 2016 Trump won the Catholic vote 52/45 and of course won it all. There’s no reason to believe Biden will even get 55%

No wonder the Democrats were urging Trump to cancel his speech tonight on account of the hurricane.

If that is true Catholics in other parts of the country have different voting patterns than they do here. In state and local races they are almost 100% in lockstep with the Democrats.

He won’t! Remember in 2018 we saw the same “black support” claims before the election.

Trump wasn't on the ballot in 2018. Also, the Republican party was still infested with stick-in-the-mud white guys who hated Trump for some reason and worked against him. That's the main reason the GOP lost the House. There was hardly anybody in the GOP races that year to vote FOR.

What we've seen the past three nights is a brand new Republican Party that minorities can gravitate to. Out of the several dozen speakers we've already seen, none of them were named Bush, Romney, Flake, McCain, Ryan, Kasich, etc.

Game changer.

I don't think many people realize this yet but Trump has DESTROYED the Republican Party and it remaking it into a party with pro-American values that will be a viable alternative to the anti-American Democrats while appealing to many more Americans across a wide spectrum.

My own wife has stated that. She has always said one of the worst things that ever happened to this country was allowing women to vote, and says she would gladly give up her vote.

Ignore polls. The Trump bumps exist to show future momentum for Biden.

Yep....i remember before the 2016 election Trump touting a poll that showed he had 25% black support. He won 8%.

I think Trump could realistically get 10%.Give or take a point.
