the article seems to leave out exactly which DA has laid he charges. why would IL prosecute a crime that occured in WI?
Illinois isn’t prosecuting him. Wisconsin has charged him and notified the Illinois authorities of an arrest warrant for him. So he will first face an extradition hearing in Illinois before he’s handed over to the Wisconsin police.
