I had an unrealistic boss once who threatened to fire me in front of the department I managed. He was mad about something he “perceived” we didn’t catch.
Well after the 3rd time of saying “ I should fire all of you”, I called his bluff and said go ahead and fire—if you’re stupid enough to threaten me with firing, then you better have the balls to do it and if you aren’t going to fire me right now then simply shut the F**k up”
I worked there for almost 5 more years!!

My takeaways are that the police focused on protecting the government buildings leaving everything else to be burned, looted,vandalized forcing citizens to make the choice to either be burned, looted or vandalized or take matters into their own hands.
Ammon Bundy had posted a video some months ago (he got arrested in Idaho just hours ago) that when the government and the radicals end up fighting each other no one is there to defend the people’s rights like property and so on unless the people organize to do it themselves.
He was promoting his People’s Rights group.
