RE: How may will buy tickets to the Metropolitan Opera?
If they have the money, I know many Indians, Brazilians and Ukrainians who love opera.
I've been a regular at the Metropolitan Opera for nearly 50 years. I have NEVER seen anyone that struck me as Indian there, not working, not singing, not attending. (I'm sure some Ukrainians do attend but I wouldn't be able to distinguish them from the Russians who attend in force. Maybe there are some Brazilians but one doesn't hear much Portuguese or Spanish at the Met.)
