Prayers up.
How incredibly stupid. No excuse.
Oil patch accident can be spectacular and deadly.

My father almost died in a very similar incident when a welder cut into a line that was supposed to be empty. It was filled with gasoline. There were four men working there. Two were killed. One was severely burned (his new nickname was ‘eyebrows’ because he had none). My dad had minor injuries. That day he was wearing clean work clothes and the others were wearing oil soaked clothing. (Back then it was typical for a man to change into work clothes when he arrived at work. He would wear the same clothes for a week and then take them home to be laundered. It was Dad’s day for clean clothes.)
This was very important to me because I wasn’t born for another five years.
